Collectible Mah Jong Set

This beautiful box and tiles were made in China for The Bombay Company. It is no longer in production. The Mah jong box has a hand painted gold oriental motif on all sides of the box. The Mah jong box is lined with black felt and has brass hinges, a brass latch, and a brass key. The Mah jong trays are also lined inside as well as underneath. There are 164 wonderfully detailed tiles. They are ivory in colour. The tiles include 16 seasons and flowers, as well as 4 jokers and Mahjong Bettor included. There is room for 5 Mah jong racks inside the box (no racks included). This is a very beautiful set in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures. And definetly a collectible.

The measurements of the Mah jong box are: 20 1/4" long x 7" high x 91/2 " deep.
The tiles measure: 1 1/8" high x 7/8" wide x 1/2" deep.
The total weight is 11 lbs.
